Are you guilty?

So I am watching Let’s Talk About Pep, on VH1…it is somewhat like an ethnic version of Sex and the City. The show follows Sandy “Pepa” Denton from the rap duo Salt-n-Pepa, and three of her close girlfriends as they live the single life in New York City. One of these friends is former BET Nightly News Anchor and current D.L. Hughley Morning Show co-host, Jacque Reid. I would have described myself as reserved until watching Jacque on this show. She seems to have a hard time giving in to her inhibitions. She has never experienced the big “O”, yet claims to enjoy sex. In my opinion, she comes across as stoic...

I'm here...

I know it's been a minute, but I'm still here! All is well...feeling blessed, blessed, blessed!

I got a new car, well it's new to me. Upgraded my 200o Toyota Corolla to an '07. Was looking at an Audi, same model year, only a couple of grand more, but it had 18k more miles on it...I have had my car for about 3 weeks now... and they are still calling me about the Audi I inquired about back then, telling me it's still available and they have brought the price down by another grand. Something must be wrong...Right now, I am not trying to create any more bills, and I am so not looking forward to a car payment. Of course I could have gotten more car, but my car is cute, and economical...it gets 30 MPG hwy, and 38 city. I got the S trim...and it so fits me...cute and not expensive to maintain.

Graduate school...I just turned in my first paper, and APA is kicking my butt! I don't recall it being so difficult when I took my Curriculum and Instruction post graduate courses. Yet this is a MA and not an MEd program, thus why it may be a little bit more focus on the technical aspects of writing. I feel that I wrote an "A" paper with regards to content, but I am anxious to see how I fared technically.

So I am so late with the updates... went to the NBA All-Star game...boring.
Went to a party hosted by D Wade that Saturday...boring.
But the weekend was not a total bust...got to spend time with friends...that's always a good time!

...and we're not going to discuss me falling down the stairs at my best friends house. OUCH!
