Just a vacancy, love don’t live here anymore…
When you look at me, which me do you see?
Do you see the me that at times holds her head in a false vanity, walking selfishly, unaware and unaffected by the cries of those surrounding me?
No one loves me, so why should I care?
Do you see the me that is consumed by agony, crying myself to sleep, hopelessly, crying out without a prayer, crying out where no one can hear, crying out because no one is there…
Is that the me that you see?
When you look at me which me do you see?
Do you see the me that holds her down head in humiliation…driven by self-degradation…because the way I see, no one could absolutely love me...do you see the me that feels worthless and unworthy?
Do you see the me whose heart feels a vacancy because I allowed him to enter me, not only physically but spiritually exiting with a piece of me…now I am an incomplete sum of a whole…and feeling useless because…
When you look at me which me do you see?
Do you see the me that is in pain, do you see a me that looks in the mirror with disdain…do you look at me the same?
Or…
When you look at me..
Do you see the me that has been transpired by the blood that brings forth new life…I’m not talking about a transfusion, yet speaking of an infusion down to the very core of my soul…making me whole, controlling each beat of my heart…the rhythm of my pulse…
Now look at me…
Which me do you see?
Do you see the me with a new song to sing…
LOVE LIVES HERE!
no longer feeling a void…an emptiness, because now my heart has been instilled with joy…
do you see that me?
Do you see the me who is no longer incomplete but has been made whole …the me that no longer cries out in agony but shouts in victory…the me with a testimony…
Do you see the me ready to stand with my fellow man, extending a hand, to uplift someone in need…someone who feels a void…someone with a vacancy…
Because…
That’s the me I’m aspiring to be, is that the me that you see?
Because…
that’s the me HE needs me to be…
So, hopefully that is the me that you see.
