Down Low

No I’m not referring to the song by Mr. Big and R. Kelly. I’m talking about these punk azz n!@*$ that are creeping around with men but claim not to be gay. This past weekend, I read my book club selection for this month and was taken a back by the surprise DL story line. This is really something that concerns me. It’s not that I think that I have a DL brother, but honestly, who does…that is what is so alarming about this phenomenon. The women are completely clueless to their partner’s alternative lifestyle. Why be deceptive? If you are sexually attracted to men, let me know up front, so I can make a decision on rather or not I would like to further pursue anything with you. I don’t like to be lied to because I feel that when information is with held from me, it renders me powerless to make decisions for myself. What is even more disturbing is how these men justify it with “I am not gay, I was on the receiving end of oral.” This is just too much for me to deal with. Own up to who you are, own what you are, but most importantly don’t unknowingly bring any woman into your down low life. This is purely sexual, if you love your wife or girlfriend, then what is drawing you to another man. If you are on the down low you are nothing more than a coward!
