I am looking for a nice pair of red pumps for the fall. I went to stevemadden.com to peep their new styles for fall, and I immediately fell in love with this shoe. That was until I saw the $179.95 price tag. Why would I pay $194.79 (including sales tax for TX) for a pair of shoes from Steve Madden? This seems a little steep. I have been known to be cheap but I don’t think this is the case here. I thought Steve was out of line when a pair of shoes started selling at $99.95. It seems that the price keeps going up, but has the quality gotten any better? I don’t know. What do you think?

That price made me spit out my cereal!! Yeah RIGHT, I'll go find a Steve Madden knock-off and pay half the price. Cute shoes tho! I need to start looking for winter/fall shoes myself.
I wouldn't... not that Madden's aren't cute. I would go to Nine West and find something quite similar and they have excellent quality. Or if you want something nice in that same price range, check out Stuart Weitzman's, they are the closest you'll get to a Blahnik or a Choo in that price range.
steve maddens shoes are real cute but the quality and design of their shoes suck. for me anyway. evertime i decide to buy a pair, they kill my feet when i walk in them.
steve madden shoes are painful, from what i heard. and $194 > that seems so overpriced but it is cute
madden is trying to become a viable force in the shoe game. i just copped a few pairs at Bloomies, and there was a time you wouldn't be able to find them at Bloomies, but i got mine for 50% off, then another 15% off on top of that..but retail price...probably not!
What a wicked little so and so is she...
Keep it cute
