Are you ready for some football?!
“Ok, how long is this going to be I think to myself”. Then I hear a ring and a recording comes on, letting me know there will be an hour to an hour and sixteen minute wait, and prompts me to enter my phone number for a call back. So I enter my sister’s number and I wait. Then here was my dilemma…it was not my account, so I did not want to go ahead and order the UT game, before ensuring that the other game was not being charged. So now, I am frustrated and beyond disappointed. I decided to go home, and then I called in again, to leave my home phone number. I chat for bit on IM, then I decided to go to Which Wich? To get me a shrimp po’boy, which was pretty good for $5.14. Anyhoo, so I leave, come back, start eating, and low and behold, Time Warner calls me back. It took the representative a minute to locate the account, for some reason phone number and address did not work for her…so she had to search by name. Then she informed me, that it did not appear that any games had been ordered and that there was glitch with the system. So two hours later, I realized…”I should have just ordered the game.”. Yes, I missed the Longhorn season opener. Good thing is was not a good game, it was almost a bad game…we only beat Arkansas State by a TD. The final score was 21-13. Oh well, a win is a win. We just better be ready for TCU next week! My universe is off because I was not able to watch the game yesterday. I don't care what I have to do, I will NOT miss next week's game. Hook’em!

You're It!
I was TAGGED..
So I guess I have to tell y'all my business now. This is the only way she could get me to post two days in a row, lol.
Accent: I guess to some I have a southern twang.
I don't drink: any alcoholic beverages
Pets: No thank you! Animals are meant to be outdoors, and even then I don't want them too close to me.
Essential Electronics: My cordless phone…yep, I said cordless not cell (I can do without a cell on most days), and my pc, and my vacuum cleaner. I have even been known to vacuum the kitchen floor.
Perfume: None, I am allergic to most fragrances. Right now I have some vanilla scented perfume oil from The Body Shop.
Gold or Silver: Gold…yellow gold…it compliments my undertones nicely. Silver tones make me look ashy.
Insomnia: Sometimes…I was up until almost 2 o'clock this morning reading a book I don't even really find that interesting.
Job Title: Recruiting Associate
Most Admired Trait: My strength
Kids: Maybe, however, my nieces always say that they are like my children…so I guess I have two, lol.
Religion: Christened Catholic, Raised Non-denominational, was a member of a full-gospel fellowship when I graduated HS, and I am currently a member of a Baptist fellowship. With all that being said…I identify myself as Christian. For me it is more about spirituality, God's word than religious doctrines.
Siblings: Yes…only one that I really claim. My younger sister Kasey.
Time I Wake Up: This morning…6:25 am
Unusual Talent/Skill: None that I can think of…I guess I am pretty ordinary.
Veggie I refuse to eat: Most…I don't like cooked vegetables period, unless its corn.
Worst Habit: Not exercising consistently
X-Rays: Dental
Favorite Meal: Fried shrimp, baked potato, gumbo, and a side salad...with a scoop of bluebell homemade vanilla ice cream for dessert, yum!
Kayos...you're it!

Tree Bark Fiber Cookies
“Should my oatmeal mix contain tree bark?”
“Ummm, I don’t think so?”
“Ok, this is a mess…let me call my mom”
So I dial my mama’s number and get her voice mail.
“Mama, this is Keli, please give me a call as soon as you get this message?”
Then I call my friend Stephanie.
She calls me back and I am now on the phone with Keshia again
“Girl?! I was calling to ask you why I have treebark in my oatmeal cookie mix. What ingredient could that possibly be?”
“I don’t know?”
“Ok, I’m on the phone with Keshia…I will call you back”
I even hit up a friend on IM asking “Should my oatmeal cookie mix contain treebark”
“What da hell!?” is his response.
“Oh, I guess not…”
So then, I dig in the trash (yes, I reached in the trash) to look at the back of the package to see the list of ingredients…
…Cinnamon…is cinnamon’s original form tree bark? I pick up one of the pieces of bark and smell it…it smelled kinda like cinnamon…then I lick it…it tastes kinda like cinnamon. So then, I run it under water, and the water running of it turns red.
So then I had to go to Google…cinnamon…according to Wikipedia is a form of evergreen.
Hot mess! Why would Betty Crocker put whole tree bark in the cookie mix?! Don’t most people grind cinnamon or shave it from the bark..or whatever process they use to get the cinnamon in a form that does not look like a damn piece of wood in a cookie. Hot mess indeed! So did Betty Crocker expect me to eat pieces of tree trunk. Hot mess! But…once I found out the tree bark was safe…I discarded the trunks, stirred in my walnuts, and continued baking my fiber cookies.

K-Spot Flashback
The craziest thing happened Monday evening, and I completely forgot about it until I woke up this morning. By now I am sure that most have heard (or at least heard of) the phone call from Samuel L. Jackson promoting his movie “Snakes on a Plane”. Well, this weekend I sent the message to every that I knew…except my mother. The following are the reasons that I thought she would find it offensive:
1. He says the word damn.
2. It’s about “Snakes on a Plane”, and snakes are evil. Satan appeared in the form of a serpent to tempt Eve.
3. He says “For God’s Sake” Oooohh, that is the ultimate no-no, we do not use God’s name in vain.
Well, I went against my better judgment and sent the message to my mother this past Monday around 6pm. She missed the call and called me back an hour later (without checking her vm) to see if I had called her. I told her “No, it was somebody else, you should have a message”. She let me know that she will check her message and I told her I will call her later. Well, I thought the fact that I told her that someone else called and should have left her a message was clue enough that I had something to do with all this. Not too mention that my cell phone number is the number that displayed as the missed called. Well, I was leaving Target at 10pm and I decided to check with Momma to see if she received her call. She answers her phone in a very frantic voice “Keli (pronounced key-lee) I can’t talk right now, momma will have to call you back” and hangs up the phone. I am thinking to myself, “Ok that was strange, what is going on there”. Being that I found her behavior to be odd I called right back. “Keli Vernee (pronounced ver-nay) momma can’t talk right now, let me call you back”. At this point, I am really nervous and wondering what the heck is up (being that we don’t reside in the same city).
Well…
My mother calls me back about 15mins later and the conversation went something like this.
“Did you send me some crazy message from a computer?”
I start laughing and say “Yes, it was a message from Samuel…” Before I could get the rest out I hear…
“That was not funny. I just left the police station, I took my phone to the cops to let them here that message because I did not know what was going on. I thought it was a death threat. That man knew that I was in Pharmaceuticals, he knew that I wore glasses, and he even called my car a tin can (she drives a 1994 Maxima)”.
I am like geeking for real, and asked “Did you listen to the entire message?”
“Yes, I did listen to the entire message, and he said that I will kill you”.
“Did you not hear him say, “Pick up your Daughter, Keli”.
Yes, but he said Kelly, and your name is Keli, so that threw me off even more".
“Momma I’m sorry” trying to hold back my laughter, “ I did not mean to scare you”.
I then hear my dad yelling in the background “That shit wasn’t funny!”
“Momma, I’m sorry, I did not realize that it would scare you. I sent it to several people (including aunts and uncles) and they all seemed to think it was hilarious”.
“Well, it was not, and the police officer thought it was funny too. He had a little smirk on his face when he informed me that it was for a movie”.
“What did he say” I asked.
“He said, “Ma’am, that is Samuel L. Jackson talking about his movie, Snakes on a Plane”.
My Dad was initially defending my mom, but then I hear him give his final two cents.
“You should have known that is was Keli with that crazy shit, who else would do something like that.”
At this point I can not help but laugh out loud.
“Momma you need to calm down, you are just too high strung”.
“Did you just call you mother high strung!”
And on that note, she was mad. I think I have just solidified my position as the bad daughter. I called her Tuesday morning to make sure she was not still mad, and to try and make up if she was. She informed me that she was never angry with me, she just did not find it funny. She also said that next time something like this happens, she will call me first, before jumping to conclusions. I then informed her that there will not be a next time, that she has been removed from the send list. My dad was mad as hell…he was the one that had to drive her to the police station, and he does not deal with the po-po’s.
I had noooo idea that a joke would turn into a terror alert code red.

I Rock!

My girl Patrice was named a Rockin Girl Blogger (and rightfully so!). So in turn, she had to name 5 Rockin Girl Bloggers, and yours truly made the cut. Now, Patrice would be on my list, but no need…she’s already secured her spot…knitter, artist, hair stylist, and now entrepreneur…check out Paige Turners…she indeed is rockin it! So now that I have the honor, I would like to bestow the same upon my Top 5 Rockin Girl Bloggers:
Erica B-This rocking girl blogger and mother of 3 is anything but your typical soccer mom. She is one talented seamstress that embodies class, sophistication and style. Want to see how it’s supposed to be done…Visit Erica and take a look at her DIY Styles.
Kayos-Her mind if full of just that…but don’t be fooled, her blog posts are very interesting and thoughtful. My partner in crime on The Sports Salon, Kayos always has the latest news and updates in the world of sports.
Mizz Write-What can I say? Writer…Publisher? Mizz Write has it going on! If you have not checked out her blog, I suggest you do so ASAP so you can see what this talented rockin girl blogger is all about.
Invisible Woman-I discovered her blog not too long ago after she left me a message on my myblog profile page. This funky and fresh rockin girl blogger provides a new prospective on black art… black cinema. Her blog celebrates our culture, while illustrating the relevance of black cinema of both yesterday and today. I suggest you check her out.
Juiicy Scoop-Need the newest in celebrity news and gossip…hit up Juiicy. You know I had to shout out my fellow southern gal (Even though she is an Oklahoma State Cowgirl), one of the trillest chicks in blogland (next to myself of course) not too mention that I find her quite hilarious.

Woman Seeking Man
You must be…
Intelligent, Honest, Trustworthy, Passionate, Compassionate, Ambitious, Determined, Loving, Sharing , Humorous, Creative, Stylish, Respectful (of self and others), Faithful…Oh…and you must love Football!
I want a man that wants me…not the idea of me. You must realize that my world does not and will not revolve around you, but that does not mean you are not important in my life. You must realize I have my own dreams and aspirations and your support is needed, wanted, and expected…sometimes I need a cheerleader too. You have to understand that both of us have to give 100% in order to build…no 50/50 here. Sometimes I might need you to do something you may not want to…are you willing to make that compromise for me? So what, we have differences, that’s what makes life interesting…I would be bored if we were exactly the same, however, you must be willing to experience new things, understand that our differences is what makes us special. It’s ok if you’re hip-hop and I’m R&B…you can’t have one without the other. You must be willing to sit and chill with my family all day because it’s important to me. You must be willing to make a complete fool of yourself if it will bring a smile to my face…don’t want a man that takes himself too seriously. You must be willing to pray with me, and for me. You have to understand that I come with issues for I am not perfect…but neither are you. You must realize that I like what I like, and just because I don’t share your opinion, does not mean I don’t honor and respect it. You must realize that sometimes I will become frustrated and upset with you…but that does not mean that my feelings have changed. Will you call me before you go to bed just because you want to hear my voice? Will you sit with me in silence just because you want to share my space and time? It’s the little things that count, and I am well worth the effort!
Can you accept me…my differences, my quirks, my faults…those things that make me me? I expect a lot from those close to me…do you think you can handle the responsibility? If you meet the minimum qualifications for this position, then your response is welcomed…otherwise, please don’t respond.

Musical Tourette's II
Prince actually says “Thoughts of creamy human jive…” Creamy human jive? That sounds messy.
Pick up the Pieces!
Still can’t shake…Make my funk the p funk, I wants to get funked up.
Nor can I shake…”Don’t you know no good…”
I also randomly bust out with, ”Let me introduce you to some new things”…”I order it tomorrow look at the time I saved ya, mama let me upgrade cha”
Yeah, I know the words are probably wrong, but that’s how I hear it in my head. The voices sing to me.
“I wish you well, but right now I’m just bitter…You make me sick…you kinda make me sick boy”.
“We are the World, We are the children”. Heard a version sung by a Houston DJ begging McNair to draft Young back in 2006…hot azz mess!
Prince Rogers Nelson is that man…I don’t think you understand…the sound of his voice alone turns me on. I was listening to “Black Sweat” and he says “I don’t wanna take my clothes off, but I do.” Lol
Why?! Some one please tell me why?! They gave that Crank dat Soulja Boy and superman a hoe boy a record deal. The beat is tight though…should be a crime to lay that foolishness over a track like that. Then what gets me is that fact that the boy has a severe speech impediment…I mean, he can’t even say azz and ho right…*smh* and how do you superman a hoe anyway? Makes no got darn sense.
“My girl wants to party all the time, party all the time, party all the time”. But Rick made the track funky…in my best Rick James voice “She likes to party all the time”.
Didn’t Donkey have a song title “Put Your Mouth on Me”? If anyone finds it, holla at your girl.

Why?! Why?! Why?!
I hate running errands at lunch time. I always feel so flustered when I come back into the office.
They are taping up boxes in my area and the tape smells like vinegar and onions. Or, they guy taping up the boxes smells like vinegar and onions…either way, something stanks!
I need to win the lottery, or marry a millionaire. My odds of marrying a millionaire are probably higher than my chances of winning the lottery.
You know what I am going to miss most about my current job when I leave? The free sodas! Man, can’t beat all the coke, orange juice, and Gatorade you can drink. Man!
I need to go bra shopping. I used to like cacique bras. Why are they only available via Lane Bryant now?
I have a one size fits all bando that I tried wearing with a strapless shirt. It worked find until I moved…and the girls looked really nice in it. I actually had a chick point at ‘em and say “That’s how I want my boobs to look”.
Who eats potted meat? And what kinda meat are they potting?
Why?! Why?! Why?! Do people send me chain emails? Please stop it! I always break the chain! And I always have the most random things happen to me…I mean…who else burns the skin off of their chin with hot pizza cheese? Who else ate chili that’s linked to a botulism outbreak? (I’m good, Thank you God!) Who else is scared out of their minds at 2:45am by screaming raccoons? (my heart almost jumped out of my chest and I just knew they were coming through the ceiling). My complex really needs to do something about the damn raccoons in the attic. Well back to the question…this stuff happens to no one other than me. I always have the most random ish going on. Anyhoo…
Why ?! Why?! Why?! Do people try me...I just went off on someone on the phone. I was however, nice about it, lol.
Enjoy your day, I know I am going to try to.
“Don’t you know no good…”

Musical Tourette's
I am probably the only person that buys 5 cheese garlic bread, and then scrapes the cheese off before toasting.
On to round four…
I cannot recall the last time I went on a date…do people still have those?
I HATE panty hose. Why are they necessary? Why do people still expect women to wear them…especially during the hot Texas summer?
I so want a vanilla ice cream cone…I might have to head to Chic-fil-a.
I want something fruity to eat or drink...its 7/11 so apparently 7-Eleven is giving away free slurprees to commemorate its 80th anniversary...sounds like a plan.
Sonic has lost their mind…they owe me money. Each time I go to sonic, no matter what location, they keep my change. I don’t care, I want my 15 cents! Give me my money! I think I need to write an email given them a piece of my mind...but Sonic cherry and strawberry limeades are da bomb! Yes, I said da bomb…what?!
How do folks wear those big hot weaves in the summer time? I had a big hot weave a few springs back and thought I was going to loose my mind.
Men talk about women…they play just as many if not more games. I can’t be bothered.
He thinks he’s slick…NO your phone did not call my phone accidentally last night. Calling me first thing in the morning like it was an emergency then wanting to blame your daughter for playing with your phone. Get a life…real quick and in a hurry!
I have a lot going on, but once it is all said in done, my life will be richer.
I always have some random song in my head. Todays would be……“Wooking pa nub…” My homegirl told me I have musical tourette’s.
Thought for the day: Nothing worth having comes easily.

Absolutely Nothing
How is NBC going to interrupt Serena’s Wimbledon match to broadcast “Days of our Lives” instead? Hot Mess!
Go Venus Go!
Man! He knew exactly what he was doing…it worked too! *smh*
Why did I have a dream about Jay Z and Beyonce? And why was I trying to convince him to ditch her for me. Well it did not take much convincing but all he did was talk about her, so I had to chunk him the deuce. Lol
Fourth of July without BBQ…so not Texas! I guess I lost a few more Texan points for that one.
I could eat bacon, eggs, and grits for breakfast lunch and dinner.
Turkey bacon…taste and smells like rubber to me. I’ll pass.
I so want a slice of pound cake topped with strawberries and whipped cream.
People act plum fools in the summer time…the heat must be frying their brains.
I am the only person I know that could manage to throw away a whole suit. UGH!
I need a new suit, I need some new shoes, I need a new pair of jeans…I just need to go shopping period!
I always say I need to get a hobby, but is blogging not a hobby? I guess I just don’t do it enough.
You know I really don’t like unsolicited advice. If I want your opinion, I would ask for it.
I have come to the conclusion that I am not photogenic…I am damn cute, but pics never quite capture my real beauty. Lol I always get the bad camera angle. Probably because I take pics with my girlfriends who practice their angles in the mirror, and they always put me on my bad side (if there any such thing, lol).
I have work to do, so I guess I need to be getting to it...
.Make my funk the pfunk, I wants to get funked up!

This Morning
This morning I spotted a homeless man on the corner. I sat in my car watching him…he had a sign that read “Native American”, here he was begging for change, yet he looked dignified, even regal. Then, I thought about my life, and although to some I might not have much, I have been blessed. I thought about home, it might not be much, its home, and I could not help but to thank God. I thought about the very car I sat in, although not a luxury sedan, it serves its purpose…I could have been watching him from the bus stop. I reached in my purse pulled out a dollar and waved it to get his attention, as I handed him the dollar he said “God bless you and may you be safe”, I could feel the sincerity and I felt blessed in that moment…that costs much more than a dollar.
This morning I talked to my niece, I love to hear her laugh. She has been a pillar of strength in my life, she has taught be what strength is all about. Ironic, I find strength in a 9 year old. She has endured so much, yet she continues on rarely complaining. Today she is healthy and strong, no pain crisis, and it has been over a year since her last hospitalization…I could not help but to thank God.
This morning was not a guarantee, and neither is the next, but every morning that I am able to awake to the shining sun, I can’t help but to thank God.
It is so easy to get caught up in the negatives…what you should have, what you don’t have…however, when I stop and reflect, I realize that it could be a lot worse, and blessing are not necessarily measured by material possessions.
When I look at his creation, when I think of all that I DO have, when I reflect upon how my life is moving on and upward, I can not help but to thank God.

Body Heat Activated
I absolutely abhor liars, I cannot stand liars! If you lie to me we are done…I have no use for you in my life…period!
I knew that cheesecake was a disaster in the making…but she tried. Instead of a cheesecake she made cheese custard. I mean if I say split the recipe in half, that means the number of eggs too, lol.
My daddy is a trip…I call him to tell him happy father’s day at 10:30 am on Sunday, and he acts like I called him at o’dark-thirty.
I need to get these drafts finished…
I need a vacation!
I think I have eaten more fiber in the past two weeks, than I have in the past two years.
I popped, locked, and dropped it this weekend. I mean, if I do that 3 x’s a week, that will be one hellava thigh workout. And yes, I was in public…so what?!
I don’t understand men, I really don’t? If I am a like a little sister to you, why would you take my hand and rub your head against it in the manner in which you did? And yes, I am talking about the head that’s attached to his neck…pick your minds up people.
I went out on Friday, and was tired all day Saturday…I so cannot hang anymore.
I love the Great Gatsby, book and both film adaptations…tried to watch “G”, was thoroughly disappointed.
Watched Déjà Vu for the first time yesterday…loved it! And Denzel *sigh*
My birthday is a week from today! Yay!
Sexual Chocolate…lol…just had to say it!

Rihanna - Umbrella on piano By David Sides
This is the only way I could EVER listen to this song...considering Rihanna's voice makes my ears bleed and causes me to want to jump from a top a tall building. This rendition however, is absolutely beautiful. I love REAL music.

Girl Crushes
1. Kelly Rowland

I love her skin, and although thin, she's curvaceous. When she's onstage she always comes across as confident and sexy. She is also a talented vocalist and I really hope that her album does well. She’s not too shabby as an actress either.
2. Beyonce Knowles

(#1 and #2 are pretty much interchangeable) Bey reminds me a lot of myself. She is dedicated to family, and she is a southern girl with an affinity for bad boys. Her alter ego Sasha also reminds me a lot of the sassy side of myself. She is a very talented singer, and I think she represents the “H” quite well. Oh, and did I mention I love her body.
3. Halle Berry

Pre divorce with Benet. She just has not seemed to exude sexy like she used to. She used to be my one and only girl crush. I actually think Halle is a bit overrated as an actress, but you can't deny her physical beauty.
*****Update*****
Newly added 4th girl crush...Dwoods (although I really wish she would go by Juanita)
I think I have body envy for real! Wow.

My Stomach Is Burning
Why did my girlfriend think it would be a good idea to call me last night, as I was trying to go to sleep, to let me know how tired she was? Ok…take your azz to sleep then…it’s that simple.
I ate a Pillsbury ready to bake chocolate chip cookie last night…raw…I am sooo ashamed.
I am going to turn 32 in 24days…don’t get me wrong, I am always excited when my birthday comes around, its my day…but 32? Yeah, I’m not quite were I’d thought I’d be at 32, but I’m steadily working and I will get their in due time.
I have to say my azz looks quite good in these jeans that I’m wearing today. And to think they are a pair of Mossimo jeans I got from Target. They were on sale for $6.99. Wow, they fit better than my Gap and Ralph Lauren Jeans…although they were designed to fit like the GAP’s long and lean jeans. Funny thing is, you will not get me to buy another pair of Jeans from Target unless they are on sale for $6.99, lol.
I need to buy a new pair of Nike running shoes.
I really don’t see how folks can drink 8 glasses of water a day. I’ve had two cups and I can feel it swishing around my belly…ewww.
Ok, I’ve gone 2 days without having a coke…wonder how much longer I can hold out. I mean they are SCREAMING my name right about now.
If you are not tuning into The Sports Salon with Keli and Kayos, you are so NOT cool.
I need to win the lottery.
Have you ever been so hungry that your stomach starts burning? Well, my stomach is burning right about now.
It’s Friday, and I have no plans for the weekend…just how I like it.

You make my stomach hurt!

Just Thinking…
It really does not matter what’s you’re intentions…it all comes down to how your actions are perceived.
Yep, seems that my idea was not so bright to begin with, it most definitely backfired.
Went to a Ben and Jerry’s scoop shop, and got chunky monkey on a sugar cone…will take blue bell and cold stone over b&j’s any day.
I did what I needed to do for me…I guess sometimes you have to look out for self.
What constitutes a date? Is hanging out with someone of the opposite sex a date even if you have no romantic interest in this person what so ever? If so, then I guess I’ve been on my fair share of dates.
No ones speaks for Keli but Keli…so…if it did not come from me…don’t assume that’s how I feel!
I wish I got paid to listen to whining. If I had a dime for every time I heard in a high pitched voice “Keli…I need help”, “Keli…I don’t understand”, or “Keli…why…”. UGH!
Am I overly sensitive? I don’t know…might be at times. I do know that I am quite temperamental…but…if I don’t get upset with you from time to time…that’s a bad sign, means I could care less…don’t give one damn!
You should be careful of who you trust…I really needed to read that today.
I could probably eat tacos, real tacos that is, every day.
What? Me a flirt? Never!
I apparently have an internet boyfriend. *giggles*
Who would have ever thought that men in tight white pants could be sexy? Lol
Am I going to eat dinner, yes. With you? Probably not.
Yay! She liked it! Means I’m on the right track…hopefully. My goal is to have a completed draft by year’s end.
How did I manage with dial up internet? Oh that’s right, I only used the net at the office, and at my sister’s place.
She’s sending me a sample…yay…I am so excited. Lol
I really need to decide what I am going to do for my birthday.
I really appreciate everyone's support...you know who you are.

Am I Judgemental?
But here recently my judging as crossed a line...it has become discriminatory. I have noticed that I have a bias in regards to overweight people. Now before you go off and have a hissy fit...I am by no means a skinny chick my damn self. I am a thick, chick, size 12/14. I don't have a problem with being large or pleasanlty plump...my problem is with being sloppy, slothful, and exhibitng bad manners However, I think that I am more quickly to forgive these offenses from someone of a smaller size. Take for instance, the newest employee on my team. I am not going to even guess her size, but she is a "big girl"...more so, she's just plain nasty. I refer to her, in my thoughts of course, as Filthy McNasty! I know I can put down some grub, but she's always eating...her ass was eating at my desk while I was training her...don't know how many times I asked her to please not do that. And when she plopped all her big azz titties on my desk, I just 'bout had a conniption. But its not that she's eating, damn, I have those days where I eat all day myself...it what she eats that disqusts me...can't eat a regular taco from taco c, but has two make her version of the double decker combing three crunchy chicken tacos with three bean and cheese tacos. I know, I know...I am not one to talk with my Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream addiction, but you know, I also can fit in my chair at work and did not have my boss spending an afternoon searching for one to accomodate me. I also can walk from the front lobby to my desk without being over exerted. I also can pick up my feet and not have to shuffle when I walk. And let's not even talk about the loud belching without saying excuse me. She wears too little clothing, and her shit is always falling out the top or bottom. Someone even complained to HR (not that I should now this) about her manner of dress, said it was offensive. Now the same day they complained about her skirt being too short, my girls were popping out the top of my blouse...apparently no one complained abou that. Am I a hypocrite? I mean, I am the same chick that got upset when her ex told her she went from being a Halle Berry to an Angie Stone. I mean, yeah, I am not in my best shape, but I will hit the elliptical machine, or do some crunches. So is it not just me? Does socitey hold an unfair bias against its overweight members? I mean, I never hear anyone saying, "Damn look at all that gut, he's so fine"! Or "She got belly for days, she sooo could get it".
Would I be more tolerant if she was thin? Am I really this type of person? Can I be this mean and shallow?

The Wait is Over
Little Richard seemed very down to earth, which is so refreshing in this day of egomaniacs that seem to be allergic to their fans. He played “Old Time Rocking Roll” and he had some fans come onto the stage to dance. As the ladies walked off the stage he gave both handshakes and hugs. He also stopped what he was doing to have “Walter” bring over one of the ladies album cover for him to autograph. He acted up during the show of course…he let us know that he’s Indian, from the Mohican tribe…he’s the last one. Of course the audience groaned, and he then did his signature “Shut Up”. At one point he threatened to go “Bobby Knight” on a roadie from Indiana because his piano was not quite right. He ended up ditching the piano to play a keyboard. He did not do my favorite “You Keep a Knockin” and “Long Tall Sally”. But I did get to hear “Tutti Frutti”, “Good Golly Miss Molly” and “Lucille”. He also performed Ray Charles “I Got a Woman”.
I wish I would have had a pic of his drummer. The drummer was fairly young, well in relation to the rest of the band, and he would gt crunk. I'm telling you, he has more twirk in his hips than Beyonce. Wow! It was quite a site.
He was a proud papa when he introduced his son to the crowd...his son was the only band memeber wearing a sparkling suit. Lil Richard informed the crowd that he and Prince get their shoes made by the same designer in LA. Why am I not surprised. LOL.
I really enjoyed myself, and it was worth enduring the pain of “Black Joe Lewis” to witness a living legend do his thing!
And that hair is player. LOL!

Kid Capri is a Punk Azz Biatch!
Well…
Kid Capri was the DJ that was hired for this event. Now, usually Cut Creator is the man, but I guess they wanted to go with a different vibe. All I can say, is when we got there he was playing an old school melody that was not at all live. Then he went into his dirty south medley, and kept getting on the mic saying…”Were in the south, I know you can make some noise”… Yeah, but only one problem kid…this is the ATX not the ATL, so why should we get crunk about Young Joc and Jeezy *sigh*. Well, he kept trying to play that stupid “I know you see it" song, and the music kept cutting off. As I walked by the booth, I waved by hand across my through signaling shut that ish off…he saw me, and got on the mic and asked me not to do that…well at this time, the music was still not playing. I then told him, that we did not want to hear Young Joc, and he tried to clown me but putting his spotlight on me. His actual words were “Oh, so you want the spotlight, I’m going to put the spotlight on you”. So I stuck a pose. He then goes on to say something about not testing him with the mic in his hand…I told him I don’t give a damn about him and his mic in his hand. He then asked me if I wanted the mic, and you know I said, “Hand it over”. Now, I also tried to tell him that I know both Eddie and Norm, and I am sure they would not appreciate him disrespecting me in this manner. See while he called himself clowning me his little cronies were laughing, and of course, the more they laughed the more he kept on. He told me to come around to the side of the DJ booth and he would give me the mic, and I better make it good. Once I walked to the side of the booth, his peeps tried to block me like I was trying to get at him. BOO-HISS! I told them that his punk ass invited me to walk around to the side of the booth. He then walks up to me, leans over and says, “I’m the one DJ’ing the party….blah, blah, blah”. See the problem with this is, although you’re the DJ the crowd dictates whether the party is rocking or not…and at this point, you were failing at your job Kid. As he talked he spat in my face…not purposely, but he’s a sprayer, YUCK! So, once he said what he had to say he walks off, but note…he never hands me the mic…because I was about to set it off in that piece (lol, actually I was only going to give a shout out to Eddie, Norm, and the rest of my UT family). The security guard actually comes over to escort me out, and I let him know that I was going to talk to Eddie. Once I threw out Eddie’s name, the guard changed the way he handled me. Yeah I name dropped…so what! I talked to Eddie and let him know that I have NEVER been so disrespected (well at least not by a grown man). He was actually trying to clown me in front of a packed house, to try to make himself look like what? A man? Wow…he’s all of 55 acting 15. So not impressed. Yeah I know I jumped fly first, but damn, if he was all that, he would not have cared what poor little ole me had to say in the first place. Even my boy from the BX said the music was not good. Kid Capri is a Buster! And I will NEVER attend an event with his name associated with it again. Bring Back Cut Creator!
On another note...
I did meet Maurice Green, so it was not all bad.

Caught with his pants down...
Ladies/Everyone:
First off I would like to apologize on behalf of Larry/Jr. for being misleading. He gave you all the impression that he was single and available. In actuality he is not, and has not been for a good while (May 2006 - present). I know that he has had phone conversations with some of you, e-mailed some/all of you, given his number to all of you, visited with some of you, attempted to visited with some of you, told some of you that he loves you, he will be there for you, etc., etc., I'm sure you all know. I have recently found out about these activities and am very pissed. I know that you all weren't aware of this predator like behavior and I can't be mad at you, but I can do something about it, which is what I'm doing now. I'm not sure what provokes a man to be such a dog (in his case attempt to be) but I'm the dog catcher today. I've spoken with Larry/Jr to find out why would be (basically)soliciting, looking for the hook-up through chat rooms, and Ladies/Everyone ,his answer was that it was just something to do. This is what he thinks of you all , just something to do. He has lied, schemed, conned & not sure if he cheated (he hasn't admitted that yet) you all of your time, cell phone minutes & gas for those of you that met up w/him. But not today, not never. I'm putting this nigga in check. He is truly sorry for being deceitful to you and more so to me. I know your wondering why I'm doing this, and the reason being is it would be to easy to let him off the hook by breaking up w/ him. He has to learn a lesson, that if you piss on the carpet your gonna get your nosed rubbed in it. And hopefully by the end of all this his bitch-ass will know to never under estimate a woman, correction, a good woman, a strong woman. So ladies if you all have a hunch about your dudes follow it, look where it got me, e-mailing you all,& embarrassing the shit out of him. If he does e-mail you after you get this, e-mail back. I check it daily now. And if he gets a new e-mail address, someone please be a dear and let me know by just forwarding it back to e-mail address. Once again I do apologize for this shit. I'm not going to be made a fool of, and I won't let any woman be either by some fake-ass playa, w/ those wanna be suave lines he was trying to kick. Nope not gonna happen.
Take care & be careful.
The Mrs.
P.S. - you can run faster w/ your skirt up than your pants down. That's why men get busted, like he just did.
Now I must say this is pure comedy. And note, the email is addressed to Ladies/Everyone...could the "Mr" also be on the down low. *smh*. This would have to be my favorite line...
He has lied, schemed, conned & not sure if he cheated (he hasn't admitted that yet) you all of your time, cell phone minutes & gas for those of you that met up w/him.
Ok...sure...he's not cheating on you. He's only making connecting with and meeting up with other women, but hey, that's not cheating...right?
In her plan to embarass him, she's the one that has seemed to played the fool. Stay with him, show him, he can have his cake and eat it too! And if I was on the list, I would tell her nada...What for...she's not leaving him.
I don't think it could EVER get this bad.

Wrap it Up!
Outkast-Player's Ball
“Hallelujah hallelujah yah know I do some things more different than I used ta…”
Ok, now I had to go find my favorite OutKast song. Player's Ball. I was a fan of the Southernplayalistic Andre and Big Boi. This is when Andre could get it...before Erykah but them roots on him lol. They look so young in this video.
Hey Ya - Acoustic
I just have one more and then I am done posting covers...well until another hot mess comes along. I don't think this one is too bad. Yeah Patrice I already know, you prefer the original lol… I just found this very interesting and thought I would share.
hayseed Dixie Roses Video
Ummm, they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. First "Crazy In Love" and now this. I promise I don't go seeking these things out. I did not think this song could get any worse…boy was I wrong. This is a hot mess! I think I watched with my mouth open for the first 30 secs after the song actually started. WOW! That's all I can say, Wow *smh*.

Switchfoot - Crazy In Love [Beyonce cover]
I find this video interesting, and thought I would share. You can say what you want about Beyonce, but this right here proves she's that biatch! I also came across the "Beyonce Wine" apparently she has inspired a dancehall tune. I kind of like this cover. What do y'all think?

Still Waiting...
But in the meantime...
Let me vent about trifling mofo's...Particularly men with women that hound other women while with their woman. So here's to the knuckle head in Wal-Mart the other night...
Yes I saw you, I know you know I saw you, because you were looking dead in my grill. If you noticed the look on my face, you would have seen it was not one of pleasure or excitement, but more so a look of contempt and disgust. Again, I saw you...but tell me this...why did you keep separating from the woman you were apparently shopping with to be all in my grill? Did you really need something off the bakery isle ? I'm just asking. And then to stand in front of the self check out as I was in line starring at me...well can we just say crazy, deranged! Wal-Mart stalking is not sexy! And you are downright trifling!

Opening Acts
What I wanted to focus on today were the opening acts. Now I have to remember that this was a student led event, but it seems that they could have really done better. Austin is nicknamed the live music capitol of the world, and there are so very talented musicians here. However, the bands chose to open for Little Richard did not fit that description. First up was Kevin Jack. Well, I will excuse the selection of Kevin Jack because apparently, he won the campus battle of the bands, and that secured him a spot in last nights show. Now Kevin Jack is a rapper, and he was backed by a live band. The problem is, it seems that he assembled his band at the last minute. They took forever to warm up, because most of that time they were on stage bumping their gums. And when the sound engineer asked someone to do a vocal mic check, they all stood their looking at each other with these dumb blank expressions on their faces…Wow. The back up singer stepped to the mic and begin singing “Ooh, la, la, la”…wow, she’s tone deaf. Not a good look. The sound engineer finally stepped up to the vocal mics and said “Mic check, 1-2-1-2, that’s all they had to do to begin with. *smh* Completely unprofessional! My first thought was “And you wonder why know one wants to fool with us”. Well, my allergies begin to give me fits, and I left the concert area to go to the Texas Union to get some water so I could take my allergy pill. When I got back, Kevin Jack was rapping up…yes!
Now, the next act were a group of men who call themselves the Jungle Rockers. Yeah, I don’t quite get it myself. All of their songs sound the same…If you’ve watched the movie “Grease” just think of the “Grease Lightening” song...not too mention the members of the band looked like T-Bird rejects. Yeah, I was in the audience singing the lyrics to “Grease Lightening” to all of their songs. There were three opening acts, and since the show did not start on time, they were each allowed three songs. Well, the T-Birds sang four, well actually, one of them was a maraca solo. I don’t know…but when the lead greaser leaned into the mic to start the lyrics of song number 5, his mic was cut off, the stage lights were turned off, and funk music started blaring from the speakers. The crowd roared, the drummer threw his sticks down, the bass player kept on strumming, and the lead vocalist…well we saw his mouth moving, but to our satisfaction, nothing was coming out. LOL! Thus far, this was the highlight of the night. They finally exited stage left and next up was local Austin blues man, Black Joe Lewis.
Now, I have never heard of Mr. Black Joe, but he looked off to me from jump. He was wearing this dashiki, and the rest of his band looked as though they were auditioning to appear on the blues brothers. Well, my initial opinion of Mr. Black Joe Lewis was right. This man is not right! He steps to the mic, and the first thing out of his mouth was BITCH! Yes, he said it like I typed it. Everyone in the audience were looking around at each other like WTH! Then he proceeds with “You’re always talking that shit…”. I honestly could not understand most of the words coming out of his mouth. But I could understand the last line of his opening number…”I’ma beat yo ass when I get home”. *smh* I can’t take it! Then in his second song, he was asking a woman “Why don’t you call me…”. Umm, maybe because you called her a bitch, and threatened to beat her ass. Ummm, I don’t know…So before he closes he dedicates his final number to all the fine Texas women with big ol’ booty’s, because you know that Texas women are the ones with the big ol’ booty’s. *smh*…Yeah, I did a lot of head shaking last night. At this point, Little Richard appears in one of the windows of the main building, we just see an image in white, and someone zooms in with their camera…yes its Little Richard! At this point, cameras go up, trying to zoom in a snap a picture of the originator. You know that ‘s sad, when we rather try to make out Little Richard in a window far away, then listen to Black Joe Lewis…but let me get back to Mr. Black Joe Lewis. Well, the number he dedicated to us Texas women with the big ol booty’s…started with PLEASE! Mann, I thought he was about to cover James Brown, oh well, so much for a hoping to hear a real song. He proceeds to sing “I want some of that bush in dem jeans”. Yeah, you read that right. *smh*. Again, I could not understand most of what Mr. Joe Black Lewis is saying, but I did make out him begging…”I would do anything to have you, get on my knees, walk like a dog, eat dog food…”. Yes, this fool said he would eat dog food. I’m done!
Yes, this was a hot mess! But don’t fret, seeing Little Richard made it all worth the while. I will post about his performance shortly.
Oh, and I had a conversation with one of his brothers after the show that was interesting. The audience consisted mostly of young white students. There were a few black faces sprinkled through out the crowd, and you had your older members who actually are from Little Richard’s time. Well, his brothers were handing out souvenir books that are actually Christian devotional booklets that contained an autographed picture of Little Richard. FYI, Little Richard is an ordained Minister . As they handed out the books, they thanked everyone for coming out. I got separated from my sister and my friend, so I stood over to the side (thinking they would have to pass me) as they handed out books. His brother handed me a book, then gave me another for a friend. He asked me if I was a longhorn. “Yes” I answer. Well, noticing the demographics of the show he asks “Is there many black longhorns?”. Well, I tell him that in relation to the majority population no, but we exist, and when I was on campus we were the largest minority population. He then proceeds to ask me “Where do the black students in Texas choose to go?”. I told him that TX and TX A&M, are the two institutions that most students within the state of Texas choose to attend. But I did note that Prairie View and Texas Southern are the largest HBCU’s in TX, which he already knew. We also started talking about Rice University, and we got on the subject of Jenna Bush attending UT, and Jeb’s son graduating from the UT college of Law. He then gave me two more books, and told me to remember to always keep God first. They all seem to be very down to earth. Little Richard included, but I will get to that later.

Good Golly Miss Molly!

Two Tears In A Bucket!
It seems that I am the shoulder that people in my life tends to lean on. Problem being…when I need a shoulder, it seems there is NO one there. I have spread myself way too thin over the past month, and unfortunately, things are going to get worse before they get better. However, I am going to have to take time and just take care of self. I had a mild panic attack the other morning, only because I have been running myself ragged worring about the well being of others. To hell with everyone else right now. If these past few weeks have taught me anything, they have taught me it’s ok to be selfish.
On another note…
I hate being given the “cold shoulder” but when someone chooses not to communicate with you, what can you do. It seems that a few people in my life have chosen to give me the cold shoulder here recently, and this had me upset for a minute. If I try to reach out to you, I feel that you should at least give me the courtesy of letting me know what’s the deal. I look at is this way…we’re grown, so we should be able to communicate our issues to each other right? I would rather you tell me that you choose not to talk to me and why, versus me sitting here wondering why the hell you are not talking to me. But again I say ‘”Two Tears In A Bucket…”
Now…
I have met a few people via the net. I am not on myspace, nor do I have a profile on any personal sites…There’s a reason for that. However, through blogging, I came across an online community that I grew much “attached” to. I made some connections and really felt as though I made a few friends. It is very odd however, considering I have only met one person, and I have only had actual verbal conversations with a couple. I am generally a guarded individual, however, I really felt comfortable in this format and found myself opening up, like I would with me “real world’ friends. However, things happen, shit happens, people happen, and I learned that not all of us were showing our real faces. It seems that some people get on the net to try to “jump fly”…fabricating stories about themselves to come across interesting or to impress others. I also learned that there is a lot of online “haterism”. I was never one to try to fit into the group. I feel that if you accept me, you are accepting “me”. I also was naïve in believing, that grown azz people know how to act accordingly. My mistake, I forgot grown does not equal mature. My mother has been warning me to be careful because there are crazies on the net…I think I need to heed her warning.
I would just like to close this post by saying…”Two Tears In A Bucket…”

March Madness!

Well, March Madness is in full effect! Conference Championships are underway, and the bracket will be released tomorrow! I can't wait. This is really the only time, outside of TX B-Ball, that I truly follow college hoops. The Big 12 Championship game is tomorrow, and my Longhorns have a rematch with the Jayhawks...we owe them a Texas sized whooping, and I am hoping my boys can deliver. I am quite sure they have earned their bid to the big dance. I am cheering on the burnt orange and white, we need another final four appearance! Go Horns Go!

Get to know me...
Some of my interest include but are not limited to Reading, writing (primarily music lyrics and fictional stories), singing, dancing, baking, and shoe shopping. I love to create and I always seem to need to be productive. I absolutely love football, and I guess you could call me a girlie tomboy to some degree. And for those of you who have yet to hold a conversation with me…I love to talk, but I am also a good listener! Although a night on the town is fun every once in a while, I do not feel the need to run the streets…I would say I am a homebody. I seem to have the most fun just chillin’ with my close friends and family.
I am into fashion, but I am not that into labels. I like to look good, but I don’t feel a need to break the bank doing so. Although I do not consider myself a label whore, I do keep up with certain designers, and I am really considering getting a pair of Citizen of Humanity jeans…well that’s if I can squeeze my behind into them. Although I would say I am a trendy individual, I tend to buy classic pieces that I can take from day to night, and give it my own personal flair by accessorizing. I rarely go into Saks or Neimans (however, I love their outlets stores), but I am not a Target/Payless kind of chick either.
I guess you could say I’m a picky eater. I don’t like sliced bread( it’s the texture I don’t like, and the taste of white bread), but I will make toast…but only using Mrs. Baird’s Split Top Wheat. I do not like condiments…no ketchup, mustard, mayo, tarter sauce, jelly, or gravy for me. I will eat honey with a biscuit every now and then, and I now will eat ranch dressing. I am a bbq sauce with my fries type of chick. As a child I also would not eat butter, syrup, or any type of salad dressing. I am not a big fan of chocolate, but I will eat a brownie, and I love me some chocolate milk. My favorite flavor of ice cream is Vanilla…preferably Blue Bell’s Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. If you want to win me over fry me some shrimp…I absolutely love shrimp, and I think I have eaten them every possible way. except for coconut shrimp…don’t like coconut. Probably the strangest thing about my pickiness, is the fact that I absolutely hate drinking water. Water is so gross to me…it either taste soapy, bitter, or rusty. YUCK! I can however tolerate the taste of Fiji Water, and I drink Vitamin Water’s Revive (which is truly watered down fruit punch). I am also very particular about the look and smell of my food. I will not eat anything from anywhere. I abhor potlucks!
Favorite NFL team: Tennessee Titans
Favorite Movies: Forrest Gump, The Color Purple, Coming to America, Friday (the original only), The Five Heartbeats, Grease, The Wiz, and now Dreamgirls.
Favorite musical artists: Prince, Chaka Kahn, Rick James, Brian McKnight, Luther Vandross, Patti LaBelle, and New Edition...And you know what….I even like Beyonce, might go see her perform at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo…oh the horror! LOL
Well, not that I have given you a few tid bits about me…thanks for stopping by and have a good day! *smiles*

Congrats to the Chicks!
Austin's own Dixie Chicks took home 5 Grammy's tonight.
Alubm of the Year
Record of the Year
Song of the Year
Country Album
Best Country Performance-Group
I have been a fan for a minute, however, I think I became a true fan when Natalie Mains openly spoke out against President Bush. The fact that people actually threatened her life because of that is crazy too me. I like the fact she did not back down from her belief. I just love this song, "Not Ready to Make Nice". Enjoy.

Thank to all who planned to tune in! We have hit a snag, but we will not be stopped!

Congratulations to Tony Dungy and the Indianapolis Colts!

If you read the post below, you know that I was rooting for the Bears and had a little wager riding on this game. Yes, the bet was my idea. I’m a good sport, so I plan to follow through. Although I was pulling for the Bears, I am VERY happy for Tony Dungy! He is a great coach and such a class act! He more than deserves to be the first African American coach to hold the Vince Lombardi trophy. So, I am off to learn this horrible song. Ugh! I may loose my TX EX privileges. LOL! You might want to tune in to The Sports Salon on Saturday…I don’t think you will want to miss this.

Hmm...
You really should have someone proofread your work. There are a LOT of misspelled words in your articles, as well as words used totally out of context. Also, in the heading on the site, you say you are, "Never at a lost for words." It really should read, "Never at a loss (l-o-s-s) for words."Just an observation.
Here is my reply to this response…
I probably should ignore, but I am in one of those moods...Umm, thank you for the feedback but I really could give a damn. I do this for me and no one else. If you can't decipher the intent of the post due to the typos don't read. I am not getting paid to do this, it’s for fun, and no...I don't proofread nor do I have anyone else waste their time proofing my posts (not articles) either. So buy a vowel, and get a life. But thanks for stopping by! *smiles*Oh, but I will change lost to loss...I never noticed the misuse of the word...but I will take that edit into consideration. *shoots bird*
I just want to know why waste your time with the “constructive” criticism. I post my “articles” and keep it moving. If I notice a mistake when I re-visit a particular post, I will make corrections at that time. I do realize that I do not always post using correct grammar…and sometimes that’s my point. I post in my err’day vernacular. What makes my azz itch is the fact that said user is anonymous. Why does it seem that all of the blogger shit talkers are always anonymous users? Hmmm. *scratches head*. If I were to make an observation such as this, I would at least sign in with my blogger user name. LOL. Okay, just wanted to vent. Thanks for listening.

Congratulations Serena!

An unseeded Serena Williams wins 8th Slam Title. I was so excited when I read the news at 3 am CST. I know that the critics were hoping that she and Venus both were past their primes. Serena went into the open ranked #81. I believe that when the Williams sisters play with heart, mind, body, and soul…they are their only competition. I started playing tennis at 12, and I immediately feel in love with the sport. Yes, we had trailblazers such as Arthur Ashe, Althea Gibson, and Zena Garrison, however, Serena and Venus have changed the game. It is a faster more powerful game, and it is beginning to have more color and personality. Congratulations Serena, this win is much deserved.

Wit Yo Nasty Azz!
Bathroom Etiquette 101
Be Tidy: No one wants to navigate around your mess. Yes, there are usually janitors, but a.) it’s rude to make them pick up your stinky tp, and b.) until they come in, your co-workers are forced to use a bathroom that is filthy. Throw away your paper towels and tp, flush until clear and wipe up excess water on the countertops. Assume our biggest customer will be the next person to use the stall and sink.
Be Sanitary:You know what's worse than seeing some stranger in a public bathroom leave without washing their hands? Seeing somebody you work with do the same. Please wash your hands!
Starting Monday a spray air deodorizer will be in each bathroom, please use it!
The restroom is not the place for personal calls or conversations about coworkers.
This is real talk! I work with some nasty azz women for sure. I heard that the menz room is just as bad. The President of the company requested that this email go out. Apparently it was more direct than this, but the VP thought it should be toned down. I really wish she would have kept the courtesy flush or drop flush (which ever you perfer line), those older women be killing us with their issues. MAN!

Prince - The Art of Musicology
I am in love with this man. I don’t know what it is about him, but just looking at him makes me weak in the knees. And that voice…low register, high register it does not matter *fanning myself fiercely*. I love me some Prince! Since I can remember, yes, I wanted to grow up to marry Michael Jackson (only because he was not at all threatening, lol), but I have always been infatuated with Prince. He’s beautiful, the man is prettier than me (and I don’t like pretty boys), yet, I think he just might be one of the sexiest men ever to walk this earth. He is a musical genius, I love his style, his funk, and his swagger…and the man has a sense of humor! Yes, I must admit I miss the freak nasty Purple one, but hey…I will take him however, I can get him. I really am trying to get to Vegas now, I need to see Prince live in concert in my lifetime…this is truly a must!
I cannot tell you how many times I watched “The Art of Musicology” when it first aired. Loves it! I know it’s a long clip, but I could not resist posting when I came across it. 4 min and 37 sec into the clip he begins playing an acoustic version of “Sweet Thing”…hot! I can go on and on, when it comes to Prince…so let me stop now. Enjoy!

Sweet Tea
Now, we love our sweet tea in the south, but this is a little too much. I don't care if you are from the N.O. or what...but there is no reason what-so-ever a dude should be able to pop it like that. WOW!
*widens eyes in shock*
Is this how we repay those who came before us. Someone once said that youtube will be the downfall of the black youth...I think they might have been right on the money with that one. *smh*

Subway Hero Wesley Autrey
David Letterman interviews Wesley Autrey in regards to his subway heroics. I truly consider this man a hero, because I doubt I would have risk my life to save the life of a stranger. He also seems to be a very charismatic gentleman. A true role model, he has done for another what some will not do for themselves…gave him the opportunity to live.
Let's Go Back...
I still love this song. And what would you know...Mr. Dalvin is repping the Texas Longhorns. This is probably my favorite Jodeci video now.
